I just got an armband to try running with my iPhone, and I'm starting with mapmyrun. The problem is, it appears the track is really inaccurate, and it added about a 1/10th a mile to my 2.2 mile run. I had wifi turned off. I've seen the same behavior when hiking using the Gaia GPS app, over a 12 mile hike it had added about a mile compared to my wife's Garmin 405 and the track was just as squiggly. Is this normal, or is there something I can do to improve this? I'm using a Speck Candyshell case, could that be blocking enough of the signal to cause issues?
